Pagbilao LNG Hub
The Pagbilao LNG Hub is an advanced-stage LNG import, storage and logistics terminal located on Pagbilao Grande Island, on the Luzon grid in Quezon Province, Philippines. The facility comprises a 130,000 m³ GTT membrane storage tank, a deepwater jetty with three 16-inch LNG transfer arms and mooring dolphins, with a design throughput of 3 MTPA, expandable. Civil and marine works are substantially complete; the tank is structurally complete. Potentially the country’s first independent LNG gateway.
Pagbilao was planned as an integrated facility: the LNG Hub and a gas-fired power plant on the same site. Following the sale of the power plant’s turbines in June 2026, the focus is the LNG Hub as a standalone terminal.
EWC is currently engaging with prospective customers and partners as part of its strategic review and commercialisation strategy.
Sengkang LNG
The Sengkang LNG Project is an advanced-stage modular LNG liquefaction development located at Sengkang Bay in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The facility has been designed for LNG production of up to 2 MTPA.
Major infrastructure and process equipment has already been installed, including cold boxes, compressors, LNG storage infrastructure, jetty facilities and marine loading arms. Once complete, the plant could potentially deliver LNG, by small carrier and ISO container, to island power systems across eastern Indonesia that currently rely on diesel.
Future development is dependent on securing suitable gas supply and commercial arrangements. The project remains under review as part of EWC’s broader strategic review.
